As the Administrative Assistant, my role is to act as a liaison between Senior Management, team members, and external partners to ensure smooth day-to-day operations. Some of my responsibilities include managing internal and external communications, scheduling internal and external meetings, handling travel arrangements, maintaining general office organization, and coordinating events. 

Why do you do “the work?”    

Human Services has always been close to my heart. Growing up in a low-income household, I witnessed my immigrant parents work tirelessly to create opportunities for themselves, my brothers, and I. Today, I am humbled and grateful for the challenges they overcame and I am driven to support others who are facing similar struggles. I aspire to be part of the change that made a difference in my life and continue working toward the positive impact we all hope to see in the world. 

What are some specific places or things you love in Connecticut?    

Connecticut is my favorite place to be when the seasons change. The shift in seasons reminds us of the beauty in letting go and how quickly we begin embracing the new.
